We come across people and causes all the time that stir our hearts into action.
The MAIDI Safe House was it for us.
Whatever that person or cause is that stirs you to give, serve, love, pray for or support in whatever way God shows you, then I would highly encourage you to do so.
Why? Because, there is a reciprocity when we support God's people. Hebrews 13:16 NKJV says, "But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." And Paul, in his letter to the Galatians instructs them thusly, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in season we shall reap if we do not lose heart" (Gal. 6:9 NKJV).
Our birthday-inspired fundraising effort is beginning to wind down. So, I will encourage your giving heart to jump into action before September 25th if possible.
Make it personal and get your name on "The Wall." There is still room for you!
Whatever you purpose to give will be greatly appreciated. And again, knowing me helps when I say that 100% of what you choose to donate will go to MAIDI to bring about the Kingdom of God in a tangible way in Uganda.
