"Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Habakkuk 2:2-3
Our pastor preached from this verse today and truly, it could not have come at a better time for us at Arise Daughter and Arise Artists. God has blessed us over and over again this year to be a blessing to others: from an art show in Cleveland to a luncheon appearance and art show in Columbus to a fundraiser and art show in North Carolina to trainings and healing courses being written and taught, this has been a year for the fulfilment of visions given to us in 2022. God has been so faithful as we stand watch while He works as only He can.
And I have just enough crazy faith to believe He will continue!
We have been tasked with raising funds to complete the purchase and basic equipping of a safe house for victims of sexual violence in Hoima, Uganda. The organization, MAIDI, is on the front lines helping to minister to and restore those young women who have been traumatized by sexual violence and then blamed for the violence done to them. Some have been left pregnant and forced into an abortion decision. Ostracized, many have few places to turn for help.
MAIDI is one place where volunteers can come along side victims and help them to rebuild their lives in safety. You can follow MAIDI on Facebook to get to know them better.
Here is where you come in: Donate whatever comes to your heart to give and we can complete the vision God has given us. You may have been tarrying about how much and when to give and that is OK. The amount is between you and the Holy Spirit and the time can be anywhere between today and September 25th (of course, if you tarry longer, that is not a problem).
We have faith that God will complete the good work He has begun because He gave us the vision.
We have faith that you can be a vital part of that vision should you choose to partner with us. Your name will be included in a unique piece of artwork that will hang in the house.
We have faith that we will shame the evil one that has operated boldly in the shadows for far too long.
We have faith because we serve a God that never fails!

Keep the faith! Much love, Sylvia
