Wow. What a difference a year makes right?! ESPECIALLY as one looks at the holiday season and how very odd this years celebrations will be for some of us. Last year we gathered at the buffet table for a dinner that (fortunately) we didn't have to cook (I'm cooking this year). I was busily hunting down the best piece of prime rib I could find on the chef's carving table (I no longer eat meat). We sat shoulder to shoulder laughing and talking with local friends and their out of town family (Uh, that's a no-no this year both for them and for us) and we bemoaned the Detroit Lions loss, yet again, on Thanksgiving day (that will never change!). I started to feel something new stirring in October--like a change was afoot-- but, if you'd told me that I would be writing a blog for a brand new ministry designed to help set post-abortive women on the road to freedom I am QUITE sure I would have given you a blank stare....
Out of all of the ups and downs of the last 365 days I can EASILY say that the beginning of Arise Daughter has been the highlight of a thoroughly unanticipated journey. Make no mistake: God is moving in EACH of our lives in the MOST extraordinary ways-starting.right.now! He is shaking some things up in the spiritual realm that you will see manifest by this time NEXT year.
Philipians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God 7. and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (NKJV).
I am looking forward to taking this journey with you. And, I am throughly EXCITED to see what our heavenly Father has in store for our next 365 days. Much love!
